Initial Bandage Removal

I have expertly protected your tattoo with Dermalize Pro film, also known as artificial skin. To ensure optimal healing, I recommend keeping the film on for a minimum of 24 hours and a maximum of 3 days.

Moisturizing & Protection

Administer a fine layer of unscented, non-petroleum based ointment or moisturizer to the tattooed area. Refrain from utilizing products containing alcohol, fragrances, or other irritants, as these may compromise the tattoo and impede the healing process.

Water Exposure

Maintain a sterile, breathable covering or attire over the tattoo for the subsequent 2-3 days. Steer clear of immersing the tattoo in water, including swimming pools, hot tubs, and ocean water.

WATER & Sun Protection

Once the tattoo is exposed, continue applying moisturizer as needed to ensure proper hydration. Evade extended exposure to sunlight and ultraviolet rays, as these may result in fading and discoloration of the tattoo.

Avoiding Irritation

Refrain from picking or scratching the tattoo, as such actions may lead to infection and damage to the tattoo.

Infection Prevention

If any signs of infection become apparent, such as redness, swelling, or discharge, promptly consult a healthcare professional.

Healing Process

Bear in mind that a tattoo constitutes a wound requiring time to heal. The healing process may span up to 4 weeks, during which the tattoo might appear elevated and cause itchiness. Avoid scratching or picking at the tattoo, as this could cause harm and prolong the healing process.

Heat Exposure Management

Evade subjecting the tattoo to excessive heat, such as that found in saunas or steam rooms.

Physical Activity

Exercise caution with the tattoo during physical activities, as perspiration and friction can exacerbate irritation to the tattoo.
