Who is responsible for your data<\/h3>\n<p>GrafitSoul, Reykjav\u00edk, Iceland, is the data controller. What information we collect<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Contact details:<\/strong> your name, phone number, email address and Instagram, Facebook or WhatsApp contact details.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Enquiry and project details:<\/strong> information about the tattoo you would like, such as idea, size, placement, style, reference images, budget and preferred dates.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Appointment information:<\/strong> booking dates, deposits and payment records, and messages exchanged about your appointment.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Health and consent information:<\/strong> before a tattoo we may ask about health matters relevant to safe tattooing (for example skin conditions or allergies) and ask you to sign a consent form. We only collect this with your explicit consent and use it only for your safety.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Photos:<\/strong> photos of your tattoo, taken during or after your session.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Technical data:<\/strong> when you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and to deliver the site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>3. How and why we use your information<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>To respond to your enquiry, discuss your tattoo project and give availability and pricing information <em>(legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract)<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>To book, manage and carry out your appointment, including deposits and aftercare follow-up <em>(legal basis: performance of a contract)<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>To keep accounting and tax records <em>(legal basis: legal obligation)<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>To keep health and consent records for your safety <em>(legal basis: your explicit consent)<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>To show photos of your tattoo in our portfolio or on social media <em>(legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time)<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>To keep the website secure and working properly <em>(legal basis: our legitimate interests)<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.<\/p>\n<h3>4. Who we share it with<\/h3>\n<p>We only share personal information with service providers that help us run our business, and only as far as needed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Meta Platforms<\/strong> (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp): for messages and lead forms submitted through these services.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hostinger<\/strong>: website hosting.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Email and booking providers<\/strong> that we use to communicate with you and manage appointments.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Accountants and public authorities<\/strong>, where required by law.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (for example in the United States). In that case the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the EU\u2013US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission&#8217;s Standard Contractual Clauses.<\/p>\n<h3>5. How long we keep it<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: deleted within 12 months of our last contact.<\/li>\n<li>Client, consent and appointment records: kept for as long as needed for your aftercare and any follow-up questions, and no longer than necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Accounting records: kept for 7 years, as required by Icelandic bookkeeping law.<\/li>\n<li>Portfolio photos: kept until you withdraw your consent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>6.
